Saturday marked the 14th of 20 preseason practices for Florida State before game week for its opener vs. LSU. The Seminoles logged a condensed day of preseason camp as they ready for Sunday’s scrimmage. Most of the early work was cross-training with position groups performing drills with coaches outside their segment.

Footage in the video below showcases defensive backs working on tracking the ball in coverage and special team focused drills.

Afterwards, alumnus and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans heaped praise on his segment and in particular the refinements Johnny Wilson has made to his game, the work ethic of Destyn Hill and the progress of Keon Coleman in the system.

FSU will have two days off following Sunday’s morning scrimmage.
