Warchant TV: Thomas Castellanos, offensive transfers embracing expectations at Florida State
Florida State’s portal class is ranked 23rd by On3 and is comprised of 16 players who mostly are upperclassmen with a proven track of production at the Power Four level.
On Tuesday, QB Thomas Castellanos (Boston College), OL Luke Petitbon (Wake Forest) and WR Squirrel White (Tennessee) discussed the draw of rounding out their careers at Florida State and the optimism around the program.
**Updates from Tuesday newcomer press conference**
Castellanos, who was originally recruited to UCF by Gus Malzahn as a high school standout in Waycross, GA, revealed he had family who attended the university — including Seminole great Devonta Freeman — that sparked his lifelong interest in being a player at FSU.
Asked about his skillset, Castellanos said, “I can extend plays and make things happen off schedule.”
