Warchant TV: Tuesday Florida State post practice interview, Mike Norvell
Florida State held its 10th practice of the spring season on Tuesday afternoon which included an extensive portion on the fields outside the Al Dunlap Practice Facility; outdoor space is limited as construction for a football only facility remains under construction.
Afterwards, Florida State head coach Mike Norvell called the practice “up and down” and it lacked the edge he’s requiring but the team will be held accountable
“Have to bring a better edge throughout,” said Norvell. “(I) thought the defense in the middle part was ok (but) towards the end you felt the energy and some explosive plays showed up.”

Florida State will open the 2025 season in a newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium when they host Alabama on August 30.
Alabama opened as a 9 point favorite and the line has moved to anywhere between 10.5 and 11 on several sportsbooks
FSU finished in last place in the ACC and below .500 for the fifth time in seven years and third time under Mike Norvell.
Alabama failed to win 10 games for the first time since 2007, its first season under former head coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 3-1 including the most recent clash, a 24-7 win in 2017
