Warchant TV: Veteran offensive transfers ready to lift Florida State in 2025
After a dismal output on offense in 2024, Florida State hit reset with three new hires and nine of its 16 portal acquisitions addressing that side of the ball.
On Tuesday TE Markeston Douglas, who originally signed with Florida State out of high school in 2020 before transferring to Arizona State in 2023, along with OL Micah Pettus (Ole Miss), TE Randy Pittman Jr. (UCF) and WR Duce Robinson (USC) discussed winter conditioning work and expectations for the upcoming season.

Florida State will open the 2025 season in a newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium when they host Alabama on August 30.
FSU finished in last place in the ACC and below .500 for the fifth time in seven years and third time under Mike Norvell.
Alabama failed to win 10 games for the first time since 2007, its first season under former head coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 3-1 including the most recent clash, a 24-7 win in 2017
The window to enter the transfer portal closed on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 and Florida State’s portal class is currently 24th in the nation with 16 additions and 21 losses. The spring transfer period begins on April 16 and closes April 25th.
