WATCH: Jordan Travis gives Florida State fans an update from the hospital
After his gruesome leg injury in the first quarter of Saturday night’s 58-13 win over North Alabama, Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis was rushed to a Tallahassee-area hospital.
Roughly 16 hours after the on-field incident, Travis took to his personal Instagram account to send a message to FSU fans.
“Just wanted to let y’all know I’m doing good. feeling good,” Travis said. “I got a smile on my face. just gonna follow God’s plan… I appreciate y’all for the messages. Go ‘Noles.”

Travis began actively supporting his Seminole teammates shortly after checking into the medical facility. From his hospital bed, Travis posted support for FSU freshman quarterback Brock Glenn‘s first touchdown.
“That’s who he is,” head coach Mike Norvell said Saturday night. “A lot of people talk about caring. He lives it. He lives it every day. His investment in this team, his investment in his teammates, this program in general, I mean, he’s special.
“It’s obviously not the way that he wanted to go out of this game, but it doesn’t shock me. I didn’t know that he put anything out (on social media), but that doesn’t shock me.”
Travis also posted excitement for the Seminoles’ blocked field goal touchdown return that ended the game.

Per another photo on Travis’ account, FSU teammates Johnny Wilson, Bryson Estes and Maurice Smith all made their way to his hospital room shortly after the Seminoles finished off their home finale on Bobby Bowden Field.
“It’s hard any time you see any player go down, but obviously Jordan is so important to this team,” Norvell said. “Not just as the quarterback, but just who he is and what he stands for. When you see a player get hurt and not really knowing what that’s going to be… it was emotional for everybody.”
As of late Sunday morning, there was no official word on what is next for Travis on his road to recovery.
