Why You Should Know Him
While he’s listed as a wideout, Scott’s main relationship in Athens has been with Todd Hartley, as the Dawgs came out of the gate thinking tight end for him. He’s likely a little bit of both and could probably even wear the athlete tag as a result, as he’s someone who could play some in-line as needed but would likely spend most of his time lined up split out. His frame provides the sort of versatility that teams are really leaning into. While the Dawgs already have one tight end committed for 2026 in Lincoln Keyes and look to have eyes on a guy like Brock Harris or Kaiden Prothro for the other spot, Scott could serve as a wideout for the Dawgs should they decide to keep things warm.

Early Impressions
Scott has been clear that the Dawgs are a team he has eyes on and he’s visited Athens several times in the early goings of his recruitment. It was a bit quieter around him this season, as it appears he’s transitioning full time to wide receiver after being considered a tight end early on his career. Could that give the Dawgs some pause? Perhaps, but don’t cross this name off of your list just yet. Scott is a talented offensive weapon, brings nice size to the fold, and has a host of top teams chasing him. Let’s see if he makes it to town early next year. That might give us some indication as to how things stand.
Nalin Scott In His Own Words
“I was very happy, I was smiling all day,” Scott said. “It was a very good time, my first Power Five offer is the back-to-back national champions. That meant a lot. I’ve been working hard…It’s the hometown school and they were one of the first games I ever watched .They’re the back-to-back national champions. Everything is going well around there. It’s always been a dream school to me ever since I was little.”
