4-star ATH Todd Robinson officially signs with Georgia
Valdosta (Ga.) four-star athlete Todd Robinson is a Georgia Bulldog. A quarterback for Valdosta the past two seasons, the quick riser in recruiting circles is expected to play defensive back at the collegiate level.
Robinson committed to Georgia back on June 10, and on Wednesday, he signed with the in-state Bulldogs as a member of the 2025 recruiting class. Robinson ranks as the nation’s No. 3 athlete, coming in at No. 164 overall and just outside the top-20 in the Peach State.
Georgia was an opportunity for Robinson. He wants to play in the National Football League. Robinson has dreamed about that opportunity since he was a child.
“It played a big role in my decision, just with how they produce players and get players better and get them to the league is just one of the top things,” Robinson said.

Todd Robinson embracing position change
Former Valdosta coach and current Georgia running back coach Josh Crawford was key to landing Robinson and finding him. Georgia coveted Robinson as a running back initially but has moved to the idea of allowing him to play defensive back after a workout in the summer.
“I want to be on the defensive side of the ball and make plays on that side of the ball,” Robinson said. “I feel like I can play defensive back really good and come down and hit…They already felt like I could play defensive back but coming to the camp just gave them the film so they can go back and watch me backpedal and stuff like that.”
Robinson is one of five defensive backs committed in the Class of 2025 heading into National Signing Day, joined by Jontae Gilbert, Jaylan Morgan, Dominick Kelly and Rasean Dinkins.
