4-star DL Nasir Johnson officially signs with Georgia
Dublin (Ga.) four-star defensive lineman Nasir Johnson is officially a Georgia Bulldog. Johnson was originally committed to Florida.
Johnson began taking visits to Georgia this fall. The Bulldogs eventually won over the four-star defensive lineman. Johnson flipped from Florida to Georgia on Nov. 15.
Johnson grew up a Georgia fan. Before flipping to Georgia, Johnson admits that came into his mind.
“It’s tough, I’m not going to lie,” Johnson said with a grin stretching across his face back on Nov. 5. “It’s tough. When Georgia plays a team, you’re like ‘Let’s go Dawgs!’. Then when they play Florida it’s like, dang, you’re kind of stuck in a loop. It’s tough but it’s all love to both sides. I’ve got pretty relationships with players from each one.”
Georgia also valued Johnson’s athleticism and versatility.
“They say I’m like the ‘ATH’ of the defensive line and they could move me around,” Johnson said back on Nov. 5.
