4-star OL Marques Easley officially signs with Georgia
Kankakee (Ill.) four-star offensive lineman Marques Easley is officially a Georgia Bulldog. Easley signed his national letter of intent to attend Georgia on Wednesday at the opening of the Early Signing Period.
The No. 215 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings committed to Georgia back on July 8 over Tennessee, Oklahoma and Alabama.
Easley was sold on the fit at Georgia.
“Georgia is the best fit for me,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons. “At Georgia, everyone is big, everyone is dogs and everyone is aggressive. And that is my style. Georgia is best for me to get to the NFL because they develop players, they compete hard and it is a great program that knows how to balance football and your time. Both me and my mom love it there.”

Easley is also set to enroll early at Georgia. He’s got his eyes on developing and the big picture at Georgia. The four-star is already looking to avenge Georgia’s SEC Championship game loss to Alabama.
“We’re ready,” Easley told DawgsHQ back on Dec. 4. “We’re already wanting that get back for Bama and talking about it now. We talked about it as soon as that clock hit zero…The expectation is to work hard and win. We’re back on business and trying to make it back to the playoffs and make sure that we make it to the top four next year.”
