A current look at Georgia's No.1 overall recruiting class in 2024
Georgia is set to kick off the summer official visit period this weekend in strong fashion, but even before that, the Dawgs are sitting with the top class in the nation and sixteen commits to their credit.
Ahead of those trips, we’re taking a look at where the class stands for Georgia and each prospect who’s already verbally pledged their services to the defending National Champions.
The crown jewel of Georgia’s Class of 2024, Raiola is the nation’s top overall prospect and plays the most important position on the field. A former Ohio State commit, Raiola wasted no time getting back to campus to work with the Bulldogs’ first set of official visitors and saw quick returns for his efforts. He’ll return this weekend for his own official visit and a massive group of talent alongside him. Look for Georgia to continue to use Raiola as a North Star to try and guide elite wide receivers to Athens, as his impact should be sizable in that regard.
Another top prospect at his position, Robinson is a total package at the cornerback spot and was one of Georgia’s biggest targets in the cycle. That he pulled the trigger early on was a key win for the Bulldogs, and though he is set to take official visits elsewhere, Robinson has been clear that he sees himself in Athens for the long term. Music to the ears of Fran Brown, the key figure in his recruitment and his positional coach at the next level, no doubt.
If there’s a name on the list that folks are wringing their hands about, it’s Riddick. A standout linebacker who the Dawgs welcomed into the class with open arms, he’s seen an incredibly increased push from the likes of his in-state Alabama and Auburn. Can Glenn Schumann and company hold on? That remains to be seen, but there’s no question the Bulldogs will be hoping that’s the case, as Riddick is massively talented.
Georgia’s most recent commit and the No. 1 tight end in the On300 rankings, Reddell saw a major Georgia push even with Landen Thomas still on the commit list. A product of the Show Me State, Reddell wasted little time in following up his visit to Athens for the Scavenger Hunt Weekend with a commitment, and he’s a welcomed addition who pushed Alabama, Notre Dame, and, perhaps most notably, Tennessee to the side for the Bulldogs. Reddell’s style reminds of Brock Bowers’ play at the same stage, though he may be more physically imposing at the same level.
Georgia’s longest-tenured commitment in the Class of 2024, Carr brings outstanding hands and route running to the wide receiver room for the Bulldogs. He’s also been solidly committed since announcing his decision, and he’s continuing to work on former Georgia commit and Florida State pledge Landen Thomas. While he may be less discusses for his longevity, he’s a key piece for Georgia’s 2024 Class.
While the Dawgs continue to chase KJ Bolden, they have one of the top safeties in the nation in their midst already, as Heyward brings a physical, fast style to the table. One of the top players in Florida for the class, he’s entertaining the likes of Miami and the Gators, but Georgia looks to be a tough beat here. Will Muschamp is thankful for that.
Speaking of top safeties, Ohio State and the entirety of the west coast is pushing for Woodyard, but since announcing his commitment to the Dawgs in January at the Adidas All-American Bowl, he’s continued to show love for Georgia. He’ll be on campus with Georgia this weekend for his official visit and, despite visits elsewhere, looks to be solid with the squad in Athens at this point.
An in-state athlete with high upside at cornerback, Jones is the kind of player that Georgia coaches prioritize. He brings speed and size to his spot and has seen Fran Brown pour into his recruitment throughout the cycle. Right now, this four-star prospect feels like a Georgia lock for the longterm, and Swainsboro is screaming ‘Go Dawgs’ as a result.
The son of an Olympian, Phillips is one of the fastest men in the Class of 2024, and he definitely brings a lightning element to the commit list as a result. While the search for a second, and possibly third, running back continues, Dell McGee has a dude on his list in Phillips, and the Pebblebrook prospect has shown no signs of wavering.

A second quarterback? You better believe it, and Puglisi gives an aura of never feeling second fiddle to anyone. While he plays in the private school ranks of Connecticut, he’s well thought of in Georgia circles for his arm talent and seems to be completely nonplussed by the commitment of Dylan Raiola. Former Georgia director of player personnel Matt Godwin compared his release to that of USC star Caleb William, and that’s doing nothing but getting salivatory glands dripping.
Better known as ‘Nitro’, Tuggle is off to IMG Academy for his senior year, and he should sharpen his ample tools against some top competition as a result. His film calls to mind 2023 signee Tyler Williams, with big ups, a long stride, and a frame that makes defense difficult. Tuggle could see his rank climb significantly if he performs as expected in his last year of high school ball.
Sporting a tremendous frame, Harrison is one of the most physically ready specimens of the 2024 class where offensive line is concerned. While New York hasn’t exactly been a Georgia hotbed, his official visit in mid-May sealed the deal, and this could end up being a sneaky-good pickup with huge developmental upside in what is a down class nationally at offensive line.
Another outstanding athlete, White can play either way on the field and spent a lot of the spring camp season at defensive back. The feeling is Georgia sees him as an explosive playmaker at the wideout position, and like Mecole Hardman, they know how to handle smaller guys of this ilk. He’s been an active proponent of the build in 2024.
While ranked lower than Reddell, Heinrich brings a hard-nosed attitude, excellent physical traits, and a do-it-all approach to the tight end position. He landed on the commit list following his official visit to Athens in mid-May, and the reviews from those close to him suggest he may well outplay his current three-star ranking given his many intangible qualities.
Flexible in position, Toliver sports a frame that can fit any of the positions on the offensive line and was coveted by rival Auburn for just that reason. Georgia swooped in on the in-state big man, and he’ll likely cross-train on the front when he arrives in Athens.
Miller may be last on this list, but he’s the top prospect at punter in the industry standard Kohl’s Kicking rankings. Iowa may not be the place you think of first when it comes to Georgia talent, but a leg of this caliber can be a difference-maker for defense. Kirby Smart loves playing field control, and word is Miller is one of the best in some time in that respect.
