Week one of the 2024 College Football season is in the books and Georgia is 1-0 after a 34-3 beatdown of Clemson. The Bulldogs, still ranked No. 1 in both polls, gets to play in front of its home crowd for the first time this season as Tennessee Tech rolls into town.

A home game means the opportunity to recruit on your own campus and DawgsHQ is watching all of that closely. The Bulldogs are also dealing with a myriad of injuries, especially on the defensive line, and a week-two game like this can help them heal. It’s a long season and Georgia’s expectations are as high as they get. Kirby Smart just wants to get better.

“I can’t pick one thing on improvement,” Smart said earlier this week. “There was so many things that we’ve got to do better. All of it. There’s just a lot there that we want to improve on. Some of what you’re doing is dictated by who you play. People just think it’s a stat game. It’s not a stat game. It’s who you’re lined up across from and how good is that football player because that does dictate things, the matchups.”

If there is one thing I know about Georgia fans, its that game week or not, Bulldog team and recruiting scoop is always on the brain. With that in mind, we’re doing another “Ask Rusty” chat at the Dawg Walk. We’re doing a special Wednesday night edition this week so the time is also a little different.
