Bill Goldberg flexes with fellow Dawgs at Georgia football workout: LOOK
Bill Goldberg had to show the young pups what real strength looks like. The worldwide wrestling sensation and former Georgia football defensive lineman stopped by a summer workout to flex on the Dawgs.
Director of Strength & Conditioning Scott Sinclair shared the photos on his social media accounts on Tuesday.
Sinclair implores us to try and find the former Dawg. It’s pretty easy when the former Dawg looks a little older than most of the players, and is also significantly more massive than many of them as well.
The workout setup at Butts-Mehre is significantly larger than the barbells and bench presses Bill Goldberg threw around in his Georgia football playing days
An $80 million renovation goes a long way, it turns out.
Still, Goldberg looks at home among all that red and black and iron and rubber. He reportedly hung up his wrestling career in February. Goldberg currently has no more fights on his contract following a loss to former Georgia Tech football player Roman Reigns.
I don’t know that any of the Georgia Bulldogs in the room would want to face him in the ring, though.
Sinclair is the captain of a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning program. Pretty cool to have Goldberg in attendance to show the current Dawgs that they don’t need all of the brand-new equipment to get big and strong.

Goldberg’s football career at Georgia and beyond
Vince Dooley signed Bill Goldberg out of Tulsa Edison High School in Oklahoma. He was a letterman on Dooley’s final Georgia roster in 1988, and the Rams selected him in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL Draft.
Yes, you read that correctly. They had 12 rounds back then.
Goldberg went on to play in the CFL and for the Falcons from 1992-94. Trivia for you: The expansion Carolina Panthers signed him in 1995, and then made him the first cut in Panthers history.
The wrestling deal worked out much better for William Scott Goldberg. He won world championships in the WCW and WWE, and entered the WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2018.
