Georgia got some good news on the basketball court with both Blue Cain and Dylan James publically committing to remaining in Athens for their junior seasons.

Cain and James both announced on 680 The Fan their intentions. The news comes after Georgia has lost a few key pieces to its roster following the Bulldogs’ first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015.

Georgia was knocked out in the round of 64 89-68 by Gonzaga. Cain averaged 9.6 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game.

James averaged 3.2 points per game this past season.

Georgia has lost Silas Demary (UConn), RJ Godfrey (Clemson), De’Shayne Montgomery and Savo Drezgic to the transfer portal in the last three weeks.

The Bulldogs have already landed a transfer commitment from former California guard Jeremiah Wilkinson. Georgia will also add three freshmen in the class of 2025. The Bulldogs signed four-star Jacob Wilkins, four-star forward Kareem Stagg and three-star center Jackson McVey.
