Brock Bowers is an alien, Kent State thoughts: The Georgia Show
Brock Bowers is not human. Maybe you already knew that, but it was our theme on this week’s Sunday LIVE episode of The Georgia Show.
Yes, the Dawgs looked as bad as they’ve looked in quite some time against Kent State.
But is it a substantial reason to doubt that this team can still achieve some amazing things this season?
The AP and Coaches Polls indicate, that the answer is, at least, ‘Not Yet.’
Our DawgsHQ crew agrees.
We gave Georgia’s Kent State scuffle one final revision on The Georgia Show. Georgia only plays 12-15 games per year.
You can’t analyze it too much.
The Georgia Show airs after each game, and at 8:30PM ET on Sundays and Wednesdays on our YouTube channel.
Please subscribe to stay current with our live shows. We also post every single Georgia football press conference and development there, too.
Can’t catch the live streams of The Georgia Show? Don’t worry. The replays post automatically so you can watch them any time.

The good: Brock Bowers can still scoot
Even when a lot of his Georgia football teammates aren’t doing the best job.
That 75-yard run? Elite.
His ability to velcro any football thrown in his direction? Tremendous.
I’m shocked teams still underestimate Brock Bowers‘s game speed and maneuverability on the football field. Or maybe he just makes defenders look like they take bad angles.
The rest of the country sees ‘Kent State’ on the scrolling ticker and thinks Georgia struggled against a bad team.

I think the Golden Flashes are the best one-win team in the country.
And Brock Bowers’s two touchdowns – as a gadget rusher, not a receiver – proved that he can take a game over when Georgia needs it in an alley fight.
The Ladd: this game won’t define McConkey
Yes, he left two sure touchdowns off the board and potentially more with his drops and fumbles.
But Kirby Smart still loves Ladd McConkey, and Georgia still needs him to perform at the highest level if the team wants to perform at the highest level.
People have bad games. Better to have it now than on the road at Kentucky or at home against a Tennessee offense that can score in buckets.
Because if you just do your job on offense, Lord knows that Tennessee defense will let ya in the endzone in return.
The Ugly: Taking a look at the ramifications of Georgia Tech’s decision to part ways with Geoff Collins
Will Georgia – Georgia Tech ever be a competitive rivalry again?
The Ramblin’ Wreck is ramblin’er and wreck-ier than ever.
If Georgia fans are still pouting after a weekend of rat poison hangover, look at the bright side:
You’re still the greatest football program in one of the nation’s greatest football states for recruiting. And that may not change in a long, long time.
Sorry, Tech fans reading this (do y’all read this?).
I don’t expect Deion Sanders to take the job.
Dawg Stocks
Jake Rowe, Palmer Thombs and I did our Dawg Stock Sunday report to wrap up the show.
Thombs is all-in on two key Georgia Bulldogs on either side of the ball.
Rowe says the gap narrowed between Georgia and the nation’s elite.
And for me, stocks on two of Georgia’s next opponents are way, way down.
