Brock Vandagriff workout video already has fans talking about 2022
Brock Vandagriff threw one pass in a five-second video.
Some Georgia football fans saw it and want to anoint him the starting quarterback over Stetson Bennett in 2022.
That’s just the way it is at Georgia, and, I would argue, in all of college football.
Unless you have a Heisman Trophy winner / candidate on the roster, the backup quarterback is always the most appealing player on the team.
And in the unique case of Stetson Bennett, he will never be able to do enough to satiate one corner of Georgia’s fanbase.
Check out the clip of Brock Vandagriff. What an arm
Yes, it’s an exciting clip. Five seconds of fury and excitement for what Georgia has at quarterback behind Stetson Bennett (and Carson Beck?)
Now, check the replies.
I won’t single anyone out. We’re all friends here.
And none of those people prepared themselves to be in the public eye like young Brock Vandagriff here.
Still, I couldn’t help but notice a general theme in the reaction to this video:
“Brock’s our guy in 2022!“

Maybe he will be.
But he hasn’t earned that just yet.
Stetson Bennett did, with pass rushers in his face. And on college football’s biggest stage.
Celebrate this clip all you want. I think it’s awesome, too. No one is denying that Brock Vandagriff has a rocket for an arm.
But me?
I’ll watch the real competition play out this spring and summer before bumping Georgia’s first National Championship quarterback since Buck Belue off his pedestal for the fall.
