Georgia football's busy staff, spring risers and a mock class: The Georgia Show
The Georgia Show had its first ever megacast with the entire DawgsHQ staff – including Rusty Mansell – to talk the latest on the Dawgs.
First of all, it’s been a busy week for a couple staffs.
Not just our dynamite ‘Dream Team,’ as several commenters in our live chat section said. Their words, not ours. We will stay humble about that.
But Georgia’s football staff is all over creation right now.
It isn’t just fun and games and charity golf events for Kirby Smart and company.
They’re all over the place checking in on Dylan Raiola and a whole lot of other talent out on the west coast.
Dell McGee, for instance, put in the work RBU with a visit to Mater Dei’s Nathaniel Frazier. If you want to read more on that, check out premium intel from Rusty Mansell and Jake Reuse.
Yes, a commitment from Raiola would make the Dawgs’ recruiting jobs a little bit easier.
But that doesn’t mean they will slow down.

What we know about the players who made the most of this Georgia spring practice period
It’s no secret that Carson Beck leads Georgia’s quarterback competition at the moment.
What we also point out frequently on The Georgia Show is that Brock Vandagriff had his moments, too.

And even though we’ve pointed it out time and time again before Rusty Mansell showed up to work with us, he also mentions a fact of life in the SEC:
You don’t know who your true starter at quarterback is until you see him perform against the best teams in the country.
Guess he just couldn’t help but listen to us from time to time before he joined our staff.
Rusty and Jake Rowe mention some things they heard about Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins on this week’s show, but I’m most interested in the character and insight into Brock Vandagriff’s decision.
He has something special between the ears and in his heart.
That kid loves the Dawgs. I can’t help but feel like it will pay off for him somehow.
2024 mock class and Choppin’ Wood
Jake Reuse has some excellent premium insight on the mock recruiting class Georgia will put together on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
Some of you weren’t impressed with the offensive unit.
Just wait until the Dawgs pick up the quarterback we all believe they will pick up, Reuse says.
Things will move quicker than a lizard on hot pavement.
We also introduced Rusty Mansell to our weekly Wednesday ‘Choppin’ Wood’ segment.
Palmer Thombs is fired up about Blue Cain. I’m fired up about running backs.
And we’re all fired up about the Dream Team in the Georgia market.
Again, y’all’s words. Not ours.
