Georgia is going to be on a national stage next weekend. Not only will the Bulldogs play in primetime on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET but they’ll also be featured on ESPN’s College GameDay as the pregame show heads to Tuscaloosa for the top-5 matchup against Alabama.

For UGA, it’s the 37th all-time appearance on the show, sixth-most of any school. It hasn’t always been a blessing for the Bulldogs though, coming in with a 17-19 (.472) record. Georgia-Alabama has also been a frequent matchup with its 11 coming in at No. 2 with one fewer appearance than Ohio State-Penn State and Alabama-LSU.

So far this season games the show has gone to have been Florida State-Georgia Tech, Notre Dame-Texas A&M, Texas-Michigan and LSU-South Carolina. This weekend they are at Tennessee-Oklahoma as Lee Corso looks to keep his perfect headgear picks up on the year.

Georgia was last on the show in December of 2023 for the SEC Championship Game against Alabama. The Crimson Tide won that, handing the Bulldogs their only loss of the season and keeping Kirby Smart’s crew out of the College Football Playoffs. UGA also hosted in November for their regular season matchup with Ole Miss, beating the Rebels 52-17 in a top-10 battle.
