Glover was once an Alabama commit. He de-committed from the Crimson Tide following Nick Saban’s retirement. Georgia and others have pushed since Glover made his decision to re-open his recruitment.

“The official visit to Georgia went good, there were good vibes, and it was good spending time with my former teammate and recruits from around the country,” Glover told DawgsHQ last week. “Being around the university was good…Ever since I decommitted, there’s been an extreme push for me (at Georgia). He’s (Hughley) been a big factor in my recruitment.”

Big picture

Georgia already has one former Alabama commit in the class of 2025 in Mason Short. The Bulldogs are looking to continue to add to their offensive line room in the coming years.

Georgia has a veteran-stacked room in 2024. The Bulldogs will lose a lot of proven talent in the coming years.

Adding Glover and others is paramount in having competition and and future starters in the wings to re-invent the self-proclaimed ‘wall of Georgia’. The Bulldogs signed six offensive linemen in the class of 2024.
