Dawgs in the NFL: Georgia players all across Conference Championship Sunday

It’s conference championship Sunday in the NFL and that means four teams are fighting for the two spots in Super Bowl LIX. In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Washington Commanders while the AFC features another clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
Three of the four teams have former Georgia Bulldogs as a part of their pursuit. The Commanders are one of a few teams across the league that don’t have any Dawgs, but fear not, UGA will be represented in a 24th straight Super Bowl. Here’s which former stars of Athens could be making their way to New Orleans on February 9th to try and take home the NFL’s ultimate prize.
Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Carter (2020-2022)
Lewis Cine (2019-2021)
Jordan Davis (2018-2021)
Kelee Ringo (2020-2022)
Nolan Smith (2019-2022)
Nakobe Dean (2019-2021) is also a member of the organization in Philadelphia. The former Georgia All-American is on injured reserve after starting all 17 regular season contests and suffering a knee injury in the Eagles Wild Card game.
