ATHENS, Ga. — It’s National Signing Day across the country and the Georgia Bulldogs are expected to be active. With 26 players already signed, including 18 of whom are enrolled in school in Athens and ready to go for spring practice, Kirby Smart’s class currently ranks No. 3 in the country behind SEC foes Texas A&M and Alabama.

Four players – Malaki Starks, Mykel Williams, Marvin Jones Jr. and Jaheim Singletary – finished as five-stars according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, while seven others were in the top-100.

The Bulldogs have quality players signed all over the place. On offense, quarterback Gunner Stockton holds numerous passing records for high school football in the state of Georgia. Branson Robinson has proven himself to be a physical running back, often compared to Nick Chubb. Then there’s talented pass catchers like Oscar Delp, De’Nylon Morrissette and C.J. Smith to go along with big, strong run blockers like Earnest Greene, Aliou Bah and Jacob Hood. Defensively, the Dawgs are ready to reload. Each of the four five-star is on the defensive line of the ball, as are Daylen Everette, Jalon Walker and Bear Alexander, all top-50 players.

Be sure to check back in for live updates throughout the day as players across the country announce their commitments and send their signed National Letters of Intent to the schools of their choosing. Until then, you can check out DawgsHQ’s final round of recruiting notes including predictions for players waiting to announce.
