WATCH: Highlights of Georgia offensive line commit Dennis Uzochukwu
Georgia addressed a need at offensive tackle in the Class of 2025 today, landing the commitment of On300 four-star lineman Dennis Uzochukwu of Suwanee, Georgia’s Peachtree Ridge High School.
The former Georgia State commit was recently named a four-star prospect in the On300 ranking and the No. 189 overall prospect in the same ranking. He ranks as the No. 16 offensive tackle and No. 22 overall prospect in the Peach State per the On300. In the Industry Ranking, a weighted average of all four major recruiting services, Uzochukwu is a three-star and the No. 778 overall prospect.
While Uzochukwu is still fresh to the game of football having picked it up his sophomore year, his tape clearly showcases some of the hallmarks of what the Bulldogs have looked for in offensive linemen over the years — namely, toughness, power, physicality, and the ability to go through the whistle. Pair that with his 6-foot-6, 285 pound frame, and it was a no brainer addition for the Bulldogs in the Class of 2025.

It’s easy to spot Uzochukwu’s basketball background while watching his footwork on film, as well. His natural athleticism and raw ability should make him an intriguing prospect to follow throughout his career with the Bulldogs.

He likely rounds out a Georgia offensive line class that boasts some depth of its own after a seven person group full of expected tackles at the next level in the 2024 cycle. Uzochuckwu joins four-star interior lineman Cortez Smith, four-star tackle/interior lineman Juan Gaston, three-star interior lineman Dontrell Glover, and three-star interior lineman Mason Short for 2025.
That group is helping to bolster what is currently the nation’s No. 1 ranked recruiting class per the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. The Dawgs will work to hold off the likes of Alabama and Ohio State to maintain that position for the remainder of the cycle.
