Dylan Raiola shines on day two of Elite 11 Finals
Day Two of the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles saw the nation’s No. 1 overall player Dylan Raiola steal the show. The Georgia commit earned On3’s MVP honors from the Pro Day portion of the event, accurate on 18 of 20 throughs according to On3 Director of Scouting and Ranking Charles Power.
“Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola, a Georgia commit, edged out Alabama five-star quarterback commit Julian Sayin of Carlsbad (Calif.) with our highest charting score for the Elite 11 Finals Pro Day. Raiola, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, was at ease through his entire script. He looked very comfortable on nearly every throw,” Power wrote. “For starters, Raiola threw the deep ball really well. There was no strain or struggle in generating velocity and driving the ball downfield. His ball did not flutter at all, especially relative to some of the other finalists.”
“Raiola was accurate to all levels and he looked comfortable in this structured, scripted setting. The footwork and timing were balanced and in rhythm, as well,” he continued. “With Raiola and Sayin — the No. 2 quarterback in the On3 Industry Ranking — you’re probably splitting hairs between the two, but we had Raiola one point higher in charting. With the total throws limited to 20, the margin for error is slim. An errant throw here or there can decide the order and that’s what happened here. However, it was a very strong day for Raiola in his session. Aside of missing his last throw, it probably would have been a near flawless session in this highly structured, on-air setting.”
Sayin took home the official title of Pro Day Challenge champion from Elite 11 and heads into the final day of the competition as one of quarterbacks with a chance to take home top honors at the camp. Raiola is in that category too and was nothing but complimentary of his competitor.
“Congrats to Julian for winning the Pro Day Challenge. The dude’s a baller. He can sling it,” Raiola told On3’s Jeremy Johnson. “All these dudes are ballers. That’s why they’re all here. I think it was a good day. I’ve got to keep stacking days on top of days and hopefully can look back at it and say it was a great result come August and September for the season.”

Raiola is one of two Georgia quarterback commits in the nation’s No. 1 ranked Class of 2024. His partner, Ryan Puglisi, is also in Los Angeles for the Elite 11 Finals, just the second time that a school has had a pair of commits in attendance together. The other time? Georgia in 2008 with Zach Mettenberger and Aaron Murray, who won MVP of the event.
Puglisi, who went 15 of 20 on accuracy according to Power, was mentioned in On3’s top performers of the day story. Power said he was first man out after finishing above Raiola for Wednesday’s workout and “continued to put a bunch of juice on his passes.”
“Puglisi is a bouncy mover in the pocket and was clearly amped up for his session,” Power wrote. “He had a few get away from him that he’d want back, but the highlights were impressive for the second straight day.”

The Elite 11 Finals wrap up on Friday night with 7-on-7. At the conclusion, the top quarterbacks from the camp – one that includes 20 signal callers in total – will be included on the official Elite 11 list with one taking home the prized MVP award.
Raiola Scouting Report
Advanced arm talent with the ability to make a wide variety of high-level throws as a high school signal-caller. Was identified as a top arm talent and quarterback in the 2024 cycle early on in his high school career. Physically developed at around 6-foot-3, 230 pounds. Has continued to add mass later on in his high school career. Owns a natural, loose throwing motion with arm dexterity to deliver off-platform and from multiple arm slots. Showed a deep catalog of throws as a sophomore. Easily drives the ball to all levels of the field. Played both under center and in the shotgun as a junior. Ahead of the curve as a ball-handler and in the quick passing game. Shows good footwork and awareness in the pocket. Capable of creative plays in the face of pressure. Primarily a pass-first quarterback as a junior, not running for many yards and finishing with -82 yards rushing – an anomaly for a top quarterback prospect. Will need to show more mobility and playmaking ability. Transferred to his third high school prior to his senior season. The son of 14-year NFL center Dominic Raiola. Also a standout baseball player as a pitcher and catcher. – Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Ranking
