Georgia is going to have quite a few players taken in the 2025 NFL Draft and ESPN’s Field Yates things quite a few will be coming off the board fairly early. Yates’ latest mock draft has two Georgia players in the top 10, the same two who rank top 10 on his big board, and another going later in the first round.

Yates also put out his top five players at each position, and he lists six Georgia players in those rankings. It starts with the edge position where Yates has Jalon Walker ranked No. 5 on his big board but he has the North Carolina native getting selected No. 8 overall by the Panthers. Walker is also Yates’ No. 2 edge in the class.

“Walker will generate some fascinating debates in draft rooms, as those who view him as an edge player at the NFL level (as I do) must account for his modest length for that position,” Yates writes. “That being said, the tape is absurdly good for Walker, who challenges Carter for the best first step off the edge in the class. No Panthers defender reached even six sacks in 2024, and Carolina was 31st in pass rush win rate (28.1%), so this is a major hole to fill.”

Mykel Williams is Yates’ No. 3 EDGE and No. 7 overall prospect in the draft class. It just so happens that he’s projected to go No. 7 overall to the New York Jets.

Malaki Starks is also projected to go in the first round as the No. 22 overall player on the board. He’s headed to Baltimore at No. 27 overall per Yates and he’s the No. 1 safety in the class. Those three players are ranked among the top five at their positions and there are three more Bulldogs who can say the same.

Trevor Etienne is the No. 5 running back. Smael Mondon is the No. 5 linebacker and Jared Wilson, after just one season as a starter at Georgia, is the No. 1 center.
