File The Name: Georgia a 'dream school' for 2027 DB Adryan Cole
Since he found out what football was, Georgia has been a ‘dream school’ for Covington (Ga.) Newton safety Adryran Cole.
Cole grew up watching Georgia.
“Georgia has been my dream school since I knew what football was,” Cole said. “I’m from here.”
Georgia’s roster is currently the home of a former blue-chip defensive back from Newton High School, in Nyland Green.
Cole remembers watching Green play as a middle schooler. He’s been set on following in the former five-star’s footsteps for the last few years.
“I’ve had a couple of conversations with him,” Cole said. “I feel like I could be the next guy (like him).”
Cole doesn’t have an offer from the Bulldogs at the moment, but he’s been on campus three times already in his freshman year of high school.
Cole has earned a starting job as a freshman at 7A Newton and has already snagged two interceptions. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety already has the attention of the in-state Bulldogs.

Cole is grateful for the early interest from Georgia.
“It’s a blessing,” Cole said. “For me dream college to show interest in me is big for me.”
An offer from Georgia would be a big one for Cole. He hasn’t gotten much indication on if that will happen.
“I’d be excited and shocked,” Cole said with a chuckle.
Georgia making an impression on Adryan Cole as a recruit
Cole has been to two games in Athens this season. He has come away impressed with the gameday atmosphere as well as the defense of Georgia.
Cole has been watching Georgia’s duo of safeties, Malaki Starks and Javon Bullard very closely. Both players remind Cole of things he feels he does well on the football field.
“The fans and how energetic they were stood out as well as getting to see all around the campus,” Cole said. “I like Malaki Starks and Javon Bullard because they remind me of myself. The way they play: Malaki has the height and he’s a ballhawk.”
Cole hopes to return to Athens at some point this fall but he’s not certain if that will happen.
