The Georgia Bulldogs are set to host a five-star on an official visit. Sound familiar? It should given the loaded lineup for recruits that are going to be in town this weekend and in the ones to follow, but on Thursday, Justin Williams became the latest to set his visit date.

Williams, who took a trip to see Georgia just a few weeks ago for the scavenger hunt, took to Twitter to announce that he’ll be in town June 23-25.

Georgia is given a small chance to land Williams, but with every visit their chances should go up. As things stand currently, Oregon is the favorite for Williams according to the On3 Industry Ranking at 97.1%.

Williams is the nation’s top linebacker both according to the On3 Industry Ranking (No. 12 overall) and the On300 (No. 25 overall). He’s listed at 6-foot-1.5, 205 pounds out of Oak Ridge (Conroe, Texas).

“I trust them,” Williams told Spiegelman regarding the Bulldogs coaching staff. “It’s all about the trust aspect. I feel like they wouldn’t do me wrong. The coaches at Georgia and I talk a lot and I feel good about them.”

Williams Scouting Report

The modern prototype for inside linebackers. Long and rangy player who can stack and shed incoming blockers but makes his money bringing down ball players from sideline to sideline and in the backfield with his elite first step and ability to close. Measures in at nearly 6-foot-2, 205 pounds with a 6-foot-5 wingspan. Ran an absurd electronically-timed 4.44 40-yard dash, 4.39 short shuttle and jumped a 9-foot-10 broad jump during the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Monster on the track running an 11.01 100m, a 23.04 200m and jumped 21-foot-3 in the long jump during his junior track and field season. Has the all the physical tools and athletic ability to be an immediate contributor at the next level. Will need to add some mass to his frame but should maintain top-tier athletic ability as he physically develops. Has the chance to become a first round NFL draft selection once his college days are over due to his rare combination of length and athletic ability for the position. – Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting

If Williams were to join Georgia’s class, he’s join a group already ranked No. 1 in the country. With 16 commits on board already, quarterbacks Dylan Raiola and Ryan Puglisi obviously headline things, but five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV isn’t a bad one to have committed either. He ranks No. 7 in the country overall and as the top player for his position according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Other commits for Georgia in the Class of 2024 include: four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick (No. 38 overall, No. 3 LB), four-star tight end Jaden Reddell (No. 49 overall, No. 2 TE), four-star wide receiver Ny Carr (No. 60 overall, No. 11 WR), four-star safety Jaylen Heyward (No. 68 overall, No. 3 S), four-star safety Peyton Woodyard (No. 70 overall, No. 4 S), four-star cornerback Demello Jones (No. 80 overall, No. 12 CB) and four-star running back Dwight Phillips (No. 97 overall, No. 7 RB). Wide receiver NiTareon Tuggle, offensive tackle Marcus Harrison, wide receiver Sacovie White, tight end Colton Heinrich, offensive tackle Malachi Toliver and punter Drew Miller rank outside of the top 100 according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
