For the second time this week, the Georgia Bulldogs have bolstered the offensive line ranks, with four-star tackle Nyier Daniels pledging his services on Friday evening.

A product of Oradell, New Jersey’s Bergen Catholic High, Daniels becomes Georgia’s twenty-fourth commitment of the Class of 2024.

At almost 6-foot-8 and 370-plus pounds, Daniels is currently ranked as the nation’s No. 160 overall prospect per the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking.

“I knew after I took all of my official visits and unofficial visits that Georgia was the fit for me,” he told DawgsHQ ahead of the announcement.

It was a familiar sentiment, as he’d earlier shared that his official visit in June was a key turning point in the relationship with Georgia.

“(It was) a 10,” Daniels told DawgsHQ following that trip. “What made it a 10 was that they showed me what was the point such as what could be done if I slipped the Georgia shoe on, like the development and the places I could go by becoming a Bulldog.”

Daniels becomes Georgia’s twenty-fifth commitment of the Class of 2024, as well as the fifth offensive line pledge of the cycle.

He is Georgia’s third offensive line commitment in the last seven days, joining recent additions and fellow four-star prospects Michael Uini and Daniel Calhoun.

While offensive line coach Stacy Searels led the recruitment, the work of defensive backs coach Fran Brown, a New Jersey native, was also key in Georgia’s landing Daniels.

“I have a good relationship with everybody on the Georgia staff but mostly Fran Brown and Coach Searels. It’s been good getting to know them. I love those guys,” Daniel said.

Nyier Daniels ranks as the nation’s No. 13 offensive tackle in the Class of 2024.

Scouting Report on Nyier Daniels

“Behemoth offensive tackle prospect with intriguing upside due to his massive frame and above-average movement skills. One of the biggest prospects in the 2024 cycle. Measured at around 6-foot-8 370 pounds prior to his senior season. Has elite length and a very large frame with arms that measure around 36 inches and hands that exceed 11 inches. Has continued adding weight heading into his senior season. Primarily lines up at left tackle for New Jersey powerhouse Bergen Catholic. A bully in the run game. Mows opposing defensive linemen as a drive blocker. Has rare body quickness for a lineman of his size. Shows fluidity in his movements and very good ankle flexion for such a big lineman. Further along as a pass blocker at this stage. Has a tendency to bend at the waist and lunge in pass protection. Has a tendency to play high and will need to work on his pad level. Does not register as a top athlete in the limited athletic testing data available. Will likely need time to reshape his body once in a college strength program. Younger for the cycle, turning 18 years-old weeks before his first college game.” – Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings on Nyier Daniels
