Keys to the game
Georgia has to hit shots. The Bulldogs’ bigs are being pummelled once they get the ball in the paint.
The Bulldogs have had opportunities over the last few weeks. Shots haven’t gone in. The Bulldogs will need their normal production out of Newell and Somto Cyril but it’s about Blue Cain, Laffew, Demary and Lawrence hitting big shots.
Georgia has to keep their foot on the gas throughout the night as well. Georgia held a 15-point lead in the second half against Arkansas before watching the lead slip away and ultimately turned into an untimely loss.
A big part of keeping those leads is hitting free throws because teams are going to be physical with the Bulldogs because of how they play.
This is a big game for Mike White’s squad.
Writer’s Prediction: Georgia 61 South Carolina 58.
