Georgia trending heavily for elite defensive lineman Jordan Hall
Georgia looks to be well positioned for one of the top players in the nation according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, and the Bulldogs extended their lead this weekend per the metric. Consensus four-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall is now given a 90.3-percent chance of landing with the Bulldogs per the RPM.
The RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Currently, two expert predictions have been entered for Hall, who ranks as the No. 26 overall player in the On300 rankings.
Those have come from On3 director of recruiting Chad Simmons, who entered his pick in early August, and FSU recruiting insider Michael Langston, who entered his pick for Hall on Sunday morning.

Hall has been clear that Georgia is a major factor in his recruitment.
“I think it’s self-explanatory, feels like a home away from home,” Hall recently told Chad Simmons. “It’s where I’m from. I was born there. And the love there I’ve been shown and everything I see since Day 1 coming there. Some of the coaches were a little iffy with me coming as a recruit the first time because I’m coming from this little hole-in-the-wall school, but I made my name for myself. I grinded, played my butt off and they’ve loved me ever since.
… Coach [Tray] Scott, he made it a point to see me. This spring, there was only two players he went to go see twice. And I know out of all people that are in my recruitment, the one coach that came to see me twice out of everybody was Coach Scott. That speaks volumes. Coach Smart is always on me hard, not even talking about football all the time. … They connect with me on all bases, probably going to be a big, big school in my recruitment outside of Florida.
