Georgia adds second quarterback commitment in Class of 2025 with Hezekiah Millender flip
Georgia has flipped the commitment of Boise State quarterback pledge Hezekiah Millender. The native of Arizona who played his final season of high school football just down the road for UGA at Clarke Central announced on Saturday he plans to stay in the Classic City just a little bit longer.
Millender, who Georgia offered after his visit to Sanford Stadium for UGA’s win over UMass last Saturday, is credited with 25 touchdown passes, 12 rushing scores and over 2,400 yards of total offense in just 10 games during his senior season. He came onto the radar for Georgia recently with the Bulldogs looking to add a second quarterback and things went quickly.
“It was a crazy environment, I’ve seen a lot of Georgia fans and it’s definitely real, Athens loves Georgia,” Millender told DawgsHQ after visiting earlier this month. “I’m blessed to have received the offer. It’s really cool… I was just excited. I just ran around the house and celebrated with my brother.”
Millender joins Findlay (Ohio) quarterback Ryan Montgomery as committed to UGA in the Class of 2025. Montgomery is ranked No. 140 in the nation overall and No. 13 among signal callers while Millender comes in as a three-star prospect, unranked overall and outside the top 50 of players at his position per On3.

Georgia’s class ranks No. 1 in the nation with five-star wide receiver Talyn Taylor and the nation’s No. 1 tight end Elyiss Williams leading the way for offensive weapons. With a total of 28 commits on board and National Signing Day less than a week away, the Bulldogs recently passed Alabama and Ohio State for the top spot.
Taylor isn’t the only five-star in the class. In fact, he’s one of four, joined by defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, EDGE Isaiah Gibson and linebacker Zayden Walker. Others in the top-100 include wide receiver CJ Wiley, EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon and running back Ousmane Kromah while EDGE Chase Linton, who committed to Georgia in the month of November as well, is just outside that area at No. 108. All rankings are per the On3 Industry Rankings.
The rest of Georgia’s class fills out as follows: interior offensive lineman Cortez Smith, athlete (defensive back) Todd Robinson, interior offensive lineman Juan Gaston, cornerback Jonate Gilbert, tight end Ethan Barbour, safety Jaylan Morgan, wide receiver Thomas Blackshear, interior offensive lineman Mason Short, wide receiver Tyler Williams, cornerback Dominick Kelly, safety Rasean Dinkins, running back Bo Walker, interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover, linebacker Anthony Kruah, wide receiver Landon Roldan, offensive tackle Dennis Uzochukwu and defensive lineman Jayden-Jamal Hanne.
