Georgia announces signing of four-star WR Tyler Williams
It may feel like deja vu, but the Georgia Bulldogs have now secured the services of wide receiver Tyler Williams out of Florida, though this time, it’s a 2025 pass catcher from Seffner, Florida and Armwood High School.
A 6-foot-1, 195 pound wideout, Williams ranks as the nation’s No. 310 prospect overall in the On3 Industry Ranking. Williams also comes in as the No. 47 wide receiver in the Class of 2025 and No. 43 prospect in the state of Florida. On3, however, considers him much higher than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 190 overall prospect in the class per the On300 rankings.
Williams committed to Georgia in late June, and despite a significant push from Miami, he remained steadfast with his pledge to the Bulldogs.

Tyler Williams In His Own Words
“I was laying in my bed around 1am ET on Tuesday morning and it hit me. I had been thinking and praying on it, and like they say, when you know, you know. A feeling that I had not had before about Georgia hit me. I knew…I got up Tuesday morning, I called coach James Coley to give him the news first. He was fired up and excited about it. Then I called coach Kirby Smart. He loved it too and it was a great feeling to be committed to Georgia…Georgia has that winning culture and they do it like no other schools do. They have a great system, they will get the ball to their playmakers giving them chances to make plays and I will have a chance to be highlighted on special teams early, too…Georgia is a great program with great resources and great coaches. It is that family environment at Georgia and I fit in perfectly with their coaches and players.” – Tyler Williams to On3’s Chad Simmons
