Georgia Bulldogs 2022 SEC schedule becomes official, full slate set
The Georgia Bulldogs football schedule is set for the 2022 season, with the SEC releasing final dates this evening for each school in the conference.
Previously confirmed dates include a season opener against the Oregon Ducks at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game, the second meeting of the two programs with a Dawgs win in 1977.
Following that, the Dawgs will be hosting the Samford Bulldogs on September 10. In the all-time series, Georgia holds a 2-0 margin.
Also locked in, the Kent State Golden Flashes will come to Athens on September 24. Georgia is previously 1-0 against Kent State.
Finally, Clean, Old Fashioned Hate against the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech will take place in Athens on November 26. Georgia holds the edge in the series with a 68-41-5 record overall. The Bulldogs will resume this series in 2021 on November 17 in Atlanta, as it was previously shut down in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Early odds out on Bama vs. Auburn
As is always the case, the Bulldogs will play a neutral site contest against the Florida Gators in Jacksonville, with 2022’s date set for October 29. The Bulldogs lead the overall series 52-44-2, though they suffered defeat in the 2020 contest.

Auburn (HOME) – October 8, 2022

Tennessee (HOME) – November 5, 2022
Mississippi State (AWAY) – November 12, 2022
Kentucky (AWAY) – November 19, 2022
Georgia in 2021
The No. 2 Bulldogs (3-0) will continue SEC play this weekend against the Commodores of Vanderbilt (1-2).
Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM ET.
Georgia enters the contest as a heavy favorite according to VegasInsider (-35).
The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
