One name not mentioned on the Georgia visitors list for this weekend’s scavenger hunt was that of five-star prospect Sammy Brown.

Though he lives in nearby Jefferson, the nation’s top inside linebacker was not among those expected on campus with the Bulldogs this weekend.

We’re told, however, that didn’t sit will with at least one Georgia commit, so he’s getting the party brought to him on his home turf.

DawgsHQ was on the scene as the Georgia commit and the nation’s No. 1 linebacker Dylan Raiola organized a throwing session this morning with Brown.

And it wasn’t just a two man show.

Also in attendance are Georgia wide receiver commits Ny Carr and Sacovie White. 2025 five-star wideout and Alabama commit Ryan Williams, the top prospect at the position for that cycle.

It appears that Raiola is taking his role as leader of Georgia’s class seriously in organizing this during his first stop on campus after pledging to the Bulldogs, and he was able to garner some serious interest from those also in attendance.

Following the session, Williams said of the relationships with Raiola:

“We’ve been talking since the last time I came to Georgia. We have a pretty good relationship, and I wouldn’t mind catching passes from him…You always need a quarterback to throw you the ball, so that definitely added to it.”

Stay tuned to DawgsHQ throughout the day for the latest on Georgia’s annual scavenger hunt weekend, as the we’ll have wire-to-wire coverage on all things related to what is already a massive recruiting opportunity for the back-to-back defending National Champions.

Scouting Report on Dylan Raiola

“Advanced arm talent with the ability to make a wide variety of high-level throws as a high school signal-caller. Was identified as a top arm talent and quarterback in the 2024 cycle early on in his high school career. Physically developed at around 6-foot-3, 230 pounds. Has continued to add mass later on in his high school career. Owns a natural, loose throwing motion with arm dexterity to deliver off-platform and from multiple arm slots. Showed a deep catalog of throws as a sophomore. Easily drives the ball to all levels of the field. Played both under center and in the shotgun as a junior. Ahead of the curve as a ball-handler and in the quick passing game. Shows good footwork and awareness in the pocket. Capable of creative plays in the face of pressure. Primarily a pass-first quarterback as a junior, not running for many yards and finishing with -82 yards rushing – an anomaly for a top quarterback prospect. Will need to show more mobility and playmaking ability. Transferred to his third high school prior to his senior season. The son of 14-year NFL center Dominic Raiola. Also a standout baseball player as a pitcher and catcher.” – Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
