Georgia commit Justus Terry shines at Under Armour Future 50
Georgia is already off to the races in the Class of 2025, currently ranked as the nation’s No. 1 class for the cycle. A big part of that? Defensive line pledge Justus Terry.
Ranked as the nation’s No. 25 overall prospect in the class per the On3 Industry Ranking, Terry committed to the Bulldogs to January of this year, and he’s since been clear that Athens is where he sees himself in the end.
“I plan on staying committed,” Terry told On3’s Jeremy Johnson in April. “I feel really good about it. It’s the number one school right now. I love it.”
Given his performance this weekend at Under Armour’s Future 50 camp, that’s excellent news.
A gathering of the nation’s elite underclassmen, the 6-foot-5, 275-pound rising junior was crowned as the most athletic defensive lineman of the camp.

Terry was also named a top performer by On3, coming in at No. 2 on the list per Cody Bellaire.
Of Terry’s performance, Bellaire wrote:
“Georgia four-star defensive lineman Justus Terry is definitely going to be one of the first guys to get off the bus at the next level. His frame is terrific. He is barrel-chested with quality length, has an athletic lower half and a quality trunk that will allow him to gain mass while adding hardly any bad weight. Terry, who plays at Manchester (Ga.), is exactly what defensive coaches are looking for when it comes to versatile defensive line prospects.
He has the burst and athleticism to play off the edge, but he also has the raw power and ability to play with leverage in order to kick inside. Terry’s movement skills combined with his size made him a borderline impossible defender to block all day long on Saturday. I expect his best football to be ahead of him based off of what I saw today. He has all the physical and athletic gifts in order to be a special talent at the next level.”
Justus Terry part of a talented 2025 class for the Bulldogs
While Terry may be catching the spotlight for the Dawgs this weekend, he’s just one of six players already pledged for the Class of 2025.
Currently, the highest-ranked prospect is No. 1 tight end and No. 13 overall prospect Elyiss Williams of Camden County. Williams is on-campus in Athens this weekend for an unofficial visit.
They’re joined by fellow four-star prospects Micah Debose (offensive tackle), Jadon Perlotte (linebacker), and Jabree Wallace-Coleman (running back).
Georgia’s most recent pledge for the cycle is cornerback Tae Harris, who is currently unranked.
