Georgia commit Vance Spafford gets new slot in On3 Rankings

Georgia only had one commit featured in On3’s latest class of 2026 rankings. Tustin (Calif.) Mission Viejo four-star wide receiver Vance Spafford checks in at No. 144 overall in the new rankings released on Monday.
Spafford was No. 110 overall in the last rankings. The Mission Viejo star wideout committed to Georgia back on Nov. 5 2024.
He has remained committed despite the advances of a few different programs. Miami is the latest to make a major push.
Spafford visited the Hurricanes on the Thursday and Friday before he returned to Athens for G-Day. Miami made an impression. He got a chance to talk to the Hurricanes’ coaching staff.

“Being with coach Kevin Beard was amazing,” Spafford told On3’s Chad Simmons.” He is incredible. The campus was amazing too. Coach Mario Cristobal is amazing to be around and talk to as well. All the people were so nice and great to be around… They made me feel like a huge priority there.”
Spafford has continued to say the right things about Georgia. He sat down with DawgsHQ and addressed the flip rumors that have popped up in recent months.
“People are going to talk,” Spafford said back on March 10. “That’s how it goes. Everyone can have their assumptions about what’s going on, which is fine. USC is in the backyard. It is what it is. Just let them talk, it’s okay.”
