Georgia defense down a linebacker due to injury
Georgia linebacker Rian Davis’ season appears to be done.
DawgsHQ has confirmed the redshirt sophomore linebacker from Apopka, Florida has suffered a leg injury and is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the year.
Davis, who suffered an ACL injury in his senior year of high school, has largely served in backup linebacker roles for the Bulldogs to this point in the season, spelling Nakobe Dean, Quay Walker, and Channing Tindall.
Luckily for the Bulldogs, the group in front of Davis has performed well.
Dean is responsible for two sacks against Clemson, and Tindall emerged as the top tackler for the Bulldogs against UAB.
