Georgia DL Nazir Stackhouse picked up by Green Bay as undrafted free agent

Another Tray Scott pupil is getting a shot in the NFL. Nazir Stackhouse wasn’t selected in the 2025 NFL Draft but he was picked up soon after by Green Bay on an undrafted free agent deal.
The Dekalb County native maxed out his time at Georgia, spending six seasons with the program. He was a redshirt freshman in 2021 as the Bulldogs won their first National Championship in 41 years. He was a major contributor the following season as UGA won its second title in as many seasons.
Stackhouse signed with Georgia in the 2020 class. He was a four-star prospect per the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average of all four websites that publish recruiting rankings. He was the No. 254 overall prospect and the No. 32 defensive lineman in that class. He finished as the No. 26 player in Georgia.
Stackhouse appeared in six games in the 2020 season. He took on a bigger role the following season, appearing in 10 games as Jordan Davis’ backup at nose tackle. That season saw him pick up two tackles for loss and a sack.

The next year was his first as a full-time starter. Stackhouse started all 15 games, all Georgia wins. He piled up 33 total tackles and three stops for loss as the man in the middle of that defensive front.
The 2023 season wasn’t quite as productive from a tackle standpoint but Stackhouse made more splash plays. He had three stops for loss, two sacks, and an interception that helped Georgia close out a win over No. 12-ranked Missouri inside Sanford Stadium. He was named second-team All-SEC by both the coaches and the Associated Press.
After considering a jump to the NFL after that season, Stackhouse chose to use his final year of eligibility. He was once again a mainstay in the Georgia defense, appearing in all 14 games with 13 stops. Stackhouse finished the year with 27 total tackles and one tackle for loss.
