The College Football season is already moving pretty quickly. We are already in week three and Georgia will open its SEC schedule with a trip to Lexington, Kentucky. The Bulldogs are three-score favorites after beating Clemson and Tennessee Tech by a combined score of 82-6.

Georgia hosted a big group of visitors for the home opener vs. Tennessee Tech. The Bulldogs are making some moves for in-state prospects with an increased scholarship limit. They’re also working to close the deal on some of the prospects in the country down the stretch.

On the team side, Kirby Smart and company are getting ready to play a wounded Wildcat team. They fell and fell hard at home last week at the hands of South Carolina. The Georgia head coach doesn’t necessarily see that as a good thing.

“They are just as dangerous whether they won or lost that game, in my opinion,” Smart said on Monday. “I mean, I don’t get into the whole – we’re going to prepare the same way regardless of what happened in that game. A lot of things went wrong quickly for them in that game, and it snowballed in some ways. I know what they’re capable of. I’ve seen them on tape. I know the football players they got. I know how physical they are. I know how they’re coached. And we’ve got to get ready for a really tough opponent.”

If there is one thing I know about Georgia fans, its that game week or not, Bulldog team and recruiting scoop is always on the brain. With that in mind, we’re doing another “Ask Rusty” chat at the Dawg Walk. We’re doing a special Wednesday night edition this week so the time is also a little different.
