Georgia Football Class of 2023 NIL Valuations: Offense
With Early National Signing Day over, Georgia’s recruiting class for 2023 looks close to complete, already taking in 29 players between high school prospects and the transfer portal. For each player, On3 has applied an algorithm to each player, assessing the players’ NIL value.
The algorithm is created through a combination of each players’ performance, influence and exposure so far in their football career. The algorithm-driven On3 NIL Valuation comes from 27 years of data and science innovation in college sports publishing, and is meant to be used as a tool in providing college athletes and businesses with an assessment of the players value in the Name, Image, and Likeness era.
So, let’s take a look at the NIL Valuation of each player in Georgia’s class of 2023. Starting with the offensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs have had 13 players sign so far, including two players out of the transfer portal.
13. Peyton Woodring – 9.8K
As more of an honorable mention for the Bulldogs’ offensive group, kicker commit Peyton Woodring currently holds the second-highest NIL value of any kicker in the 2023 cycle, only coming behind Nebraska commit Tristan Alvano. While Jack Podlesny is undecided about his plans following the 2022 season, Woodring could enter the Dawgs’ special teams room with a chance of getting early playing time.
12. Joshua Miller – 12.6K
With the craziness of Early National Signing Day, it can be easy to forget about a guy who committed over half a year ago. However, Joshua Miller, the interior offensive line commit from Virginia provides some much needed depth in Searles’ group.
11. Kelton Smith – 22K
If there’s a trend among the first four players mentioned on this list, it’s that offensive linemen typically don’t get as much attention as some of the skill players. However, Kelton Smith, a top 15 recruit at the offensive line position, could work his way onto the field within his time at Georgia, boosting his NIL value along the way.
10. Roderick Robinson – 37K
Looking out to the west coast, Roderick Robinson recently won California high school player of the year. Unfortunately, his dominant season is not currently reflected in his NIL value, but Robinson has been trending upwards ever since he committed to the Dawgs.
9. Rara Thomas – 39K
Originally from Eufaula (Ala.), Rara Thomas played two years for Mike Leach and the Mississippi State Bulldogs before transferring to Athens on Thursday. From the time Thomas entered the transfer portal to the week before his commitment, his NIL value rose from 37 thousand to 39 thousand. It remains to be seen how the announcement of committing to will affect his value.
8. Yazeed Haynes – 52K
The former Penn State commit comes in with the third highest NIL value in the Bulldogs class, with the potential to make a huge jump in his time at Georgia. While the On3 Consensus currently ranks Haynes as the 306th best player in the class of 2023, the On3 rankings place him at 127th, making him the third best recruit in the state of Pennsylvania.
7. Anthony Evans – 68K
Coming from the Lone Star state, former Oklahoma commit Anthony Evans comes in with the seventh highest NIL value for the Dawgs’ offensive commits, displaying huge upside in his time playing at Judson High School. On October 25th, Evans’s value came in at 20 thousand, but has made several huge jumps in the past two months

6. Bo Hughley – 130K
Among Georgia’s offensive commits, there is a huge jump in NIL valuation from sixth to seventh, with Hughley coming in at an impressive 130 thousand. Hughley was a very sought after recruit, but the Bulldogs did enough to fend off the competition and sign Hughley this past week.
5. Pearce Spurlin – 140K
Moving into the top five, Georgia tight end commit Pearce Spurlin measures in at a towering 6’6, 230 pounds. While the top-120 player will be entering a loaded Georgia tight end room, his athletic profile combined with the development from Todd Hartley could prove to be a lethal combo.
4. Dominic Lovett – 147K
Georgia’s most recent commit, Dominic Lovett, comes in as the fourth highest valued offensive player for the Dawgs in large part due to his previous success in the SEC. This past year at Missouri, Lovett hauled in 56 receptions for 846 yards and three touchdowns. While it’s tough to predict Lovett’s production in 2023, it’s fair to assume that his NIL value will see a huge bump following his commitment to the Dawgs.
3. Monroe Freeling – 148K
Elite tackle prospect Monroe Freeling is an example of one of the few exclusions to the belief that offensive linemen have no value in the NIL era. Coming from Mount Pleasant (SC), Freeling has the 6th highest NIL value of any tackle in the 2023 recruiting cycle and the third highest of any Georgia offensive commit.
T-1. Tyler Williams – 156K
There’s a tie for the highest valued Georgia commit in the 2023 cycle, with top-100 player Tyler Williams being one of them. Williams, a 6’2.5, 200 pound receiver from Lakeland (Fl.), could make an immediate impact in the Bulldogs’ receiving room along with Lovett, Thomas, Haynes, Cottrell, and Evans.
T-1. Lawson Luckie – 156K
Lawson Luckie, son of former Georgia linebacker Mike Luckie, checks in with the highest NIL valuation of any Bulldog commit in the 2023 cycle. As a tight end out of Norcross (Ga.), Luckie displayed a unique combination of power and athleticism. While Luckie will be entering a tight end room with several other extremely talented players, including All-American Brock Bowers, the sky’s the limit for the Georgia legacy.
