Week 4 of the NFL football season was certainly one to remember for Georgia football fans, with former Georgia rookies and veterans making plays all over the field for their franchises. After such an exhausting Saturday night for Bulldog Nation, Sunday provided an opportunity for fans to remember all of the former Dawgs and the impact they can make on the field

Nick Chubb

Another week, another Nick Chubb highlight. Chubb made his return to Mercedes Benz Stadium for the first time since his senior season when Georgia won the SEC Championship and played for the National Championship in the building as he carried the Cleveland Browns in a close loss to the Atlanta Falcons. On the day, Chubb totaled 127 yards on 21 touches, including this 28-yard rushing touchdown to give the Browns a late lead.

George Pickens

Last week, George Pickens made this list for his incredible one-handed snag against the Cleveland Browns. This week, Pickens’ entire performance on the day warranted a mention, as he led the Pittsburgh Steelers in receiving yards with 102 yards on six catches, including some jaw-dropping sideline receptions.

Isaiah McKenzie

Isaiah McKenzie continues to show his impact as a receiver for the Buffalo Bills, pulling in touchdown receptions in back-to-back weeks. This four-yard touchdown catch before the half played a big role in the Bills’ comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Zamir White

Seeing some very limited action over the first three weeks of the season, Zamir White had a huge play for the Las Vegas Raiders, running the ball for 22-yards on third and one, allowing Josh Jacobs to punch in the score right after. While White is still searching for his first touchdown of the season, he’s starting to become a fan favorite for the Raiders’ fanbase.

Jordan Davis

It’s extremely uncommon to see a nose tackle shed a block and tackle the running back in the backfield at the NFL level. Then again, Jordan Davis is a very uncommon player. In a game where Davis put up four total tackles for the Philadelphia Eagles, this play stood out as he shed the block of Jacksonville Jaguars’ rookie center Luke Fortner and ate up running back Travis Etienne behind the line of scrimmage.

Azeez Ojulari

On this highlight between the New York Giants and Chicago Bears, Azeez Ojulari showed no mercy on former Georgia teammate Justin Fields, knocking the ball out of his hand on his pass attempt. The Giants were able to score shortly after, leading them to a big win over the Bears and extending their record to 3-1.

Jamaree Salyer

The Los Angeles Chargers were put in a very uncomfortable position when they were forced to start rookie tackle Jamaree Salyer at left tackle for injured star Rashawn Slater. However, Salyer, who was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 draft, was a force to be reckoned with against the Houston Texas on Sunday, playing a big role in the Chargers’ 34-24 win. While Slater will certainly be put back at the left tackle spot when he is healthy, it may be hard for Los Angeles to keep Salyer off of the field.
