Just a day after Georgia’s 42-10 win over the Auburn Tigers, former Bulldogs all over the country showed out for their NFL franchises, running the ball all over the field and making some impressive grabs. Here are the top performances and plays from all of the Dawgs in the NFL…

James Cook

To kick off the weekend, Buffalo Bills rookie running back James Cook scored his first career touchdown on this 24-yard touchdown carry. Cook finished the day with 31 rushing yards on four carries in a big Bills win over the Steelers.

George Pickens

The Georgia Bulldogs have won four of their last five contests against the Florida Gators, but after this play by George Pickens, you might as well call it five of their last six. Pickens earned himself a spot on the highlight reel as he went up and beat former Florida defensive back Kaiir Elam in coverage. Despite the 38-3 loss, there’s no doubt that Pickens has established himself as a major contributor in the Steelers’ offense with six receptions for 83 yards on the day.

After the game, Cook and Pickens met up to flex how far the former teammates have come in their football careers.

Nick Chubb

Nick Chubb is making his case for MVP early in the season for the Cleveland Browns as he has proven week in and week out to be one of the best running backs in the NFL. Chubb’s performance against the Los Angeles Chargers continued this trend, becoming the first running back in NFL history with 575+ yards and 7+ rushing touchdowns on fewer than 100 carries through the first five games of a season. He had two touchdowns and 134 yards on 17 carries in Sunday’s 30-28 loss.

AJ Green

At 34 years old, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver AJ Green is still making clutch plays in the NFL, including this toe-tap sideline grab during the Cardinals’ close loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. While the former Bulldog may be far past his prime, his three receptions for 20 yards prove his value as a contributor on a playoff-contending team.
