Georgia football releases depth chart for UAB

ATHENS, Ga. — It’s Saturday in the Classic City where No. 1-ranked Georgia will host UAB. It’s the Bulldogs fourth straight home game to begin the 2023 season and the last before they hit the road to take on Auburn next week. The Bulldogs are 3-0 and winners of a school-record 20 consecutive games. The back-to-back National Champions are favored by six scores and they released a depth chart on the pre-game flip card and DawgsHQ is providing that for you, in full, below.

***Edwards returned to action last week against South Carolina. He was sporting a light brace on his right knee after suffering a sprained MCL during the preseason but he was highly effective, rushing 20 times for 118 yards and a touchdown.

*** McConkey hasn’t played yet this season and is extremely doubtful for this one. The Bulldogs shut him down this week. He has been experienced back tightness/spasms since the final week of the preseason. A timeline for his return has not yet been established.

*** Both Luckie and Spurlin are dinged up right now. Spurlin is dealing with a shoulder injury and Luckie is close to returning after a high-ankle sprain this preseason that required surgery to correct.

*** Blaske has not dressed for the past two games and he’s unlikely to play today. He did practice this week but it’s likely the he’ll sit out this week unless there is an emergency at tackle.

*** Ingram-Dawkins is likely out for this game with a foot injury that has lingered since preseason camp, leaving Georgia with just two healthy defensive ends. He was out last week while wearing a walking boot and using a scooter to get around.
