AUSTIN, Tex. — In a little more than 24 hours No. 1 Texas will play host to No. 5 Georgia with a ton on the line. When this game is finished, both teams will still have all goals on the table. This one, however, is huge when it comes to margin for error and the inside track on a shot at the SEC Championship game.

When the game is that close, it means a game trailer from the Bulldog video team. It released another on Friday night with the title “The Power G.” The trailer is almost two minutes long and it’s narrated by Malaki Starks.

“When you wear the G, you play for everybody who came before you,” Starks said. “It’s a legacy. It’s a standard. Proud of it? Damn right we are. Committed to it? Always.”

The Longhorns are favored by five points, making the UGA the underdog for the first time since the season opener in 2021 vs. Clemson. Bulldog fans who had this game circled when it was announced and made the trip to Austin, and there are many, will try and help cheer their team to an upset victory.

Many believe Texas, 6-0 on the season, are Colllege Football’s most complete, most dominant team. It’s hard to argue with the results as the Longhorns have breezed through their schedule thus far and voters are loving it. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart is impressed, too.

When you look at what they’re doing defensively, offensively, and special teams, they are clearly one of the best teams in the country with what they do,” Smart told the Georgia beat on Monday. “Got a great quarterback, great defense, great scheme. Should be a great matchup, and this is really what you come to Georgia to play in these moments. Once again on the road going to a place that I’ve never been. I assume none of our players have ever been there either for a game, so it should be exciting, great TV, and looking for an opportunity for us to get better because that’s the most important thing is can we show some kind of consistent improvement and play more consistent as a team. That’s our goal, so that I’ll open it up.”
