Georgia is coming off a bye week where it had a chance to rest and recover. How much did it help the Bulldogs’ injury situation? We offer our final injury report, as we know it, before Georgia and Florida lock horns on Saturday.

Out…

RB Andrew Paul (knee): The late addition to a No. 3-ranked 2022 haul for Georgia was pushing for a spot in the rotation before suffering a torn ACL in the second and final preseason scrimmage. Paul had surgery to repair that injury and will miss the entire 2022 season.

ILB C.J. Washington (neck): We don’t know when Washington might make a return to the football field. The true freshman suffered a neck injury during spring practice and while we’re told that he’s doing well, he hasn’t been able to practice since.

OL Drew Bobo (shoulder): The son of Georgia analyst Mike Bobo will be out until spring after having surgery to repair a torn labrum. He had the injury when he arrived at UGA and Kirby Smart says he went as long as he could before getting the procedure.

OL Earnest Greene (back): Georgia could get the giant offensive lineman back in the postseason but no sooner. He had a procedure to correct an issue in his back and will miss the rest of the 2022 regular season. Greene was competing for playing time at guard during preseason camp.

OL Jacob Hood (lower body): The mammoth offensive lineman has been banged up to some extent since spring drills and maybe before that. He missed Georgia spring practice with a foot injury and had a tough time staying healthy in the preseason. Hood hasn’t been available for a game yet this season.

Doubtful…

WR AD Mitchell (ankle): The sophomore wideout was injured on UGA’s first play from scrimmage against Samford. He missed the rest of that game and the next three before making a return to the playing field against Auburn. He did not play against Vanderbilt and Smart told reporters this week that his original injury was a high-ankle sprain and that it lingers on. We don’t see him playing against the Gators but we can’t completely rule it out.

Questionable…

DL Jalen Carter (knee): We almost elevated Carter to probable for this report. He has done more and more as the week has gone on and we almost expect to see him back on the field in Jacksonville. He is expected to travel at this time and the Bulldogs might be able to use him for a handful of snaps.

Probable…

ILB Smael Mondon (ankle): The sophomore defender should return to the starting lineup against the Gators. He has practiced a lot over the past two weeks and the ankle injury suffered at Missouri is behind him. Mondon didn’t play in either of the last two Georgia victories.

ILB Trezmen Marshall (knee): The Clinch County High School product missed the Auburn game with a sore knee but was back on the field against Vanderbilt. We expect him to play against Florida, giving the Bulldogs their top three inside linebackers, healthy, for the first time since September.

OLB Chaz Chambliss (hamstring): The reserve outside linebacker missed three straight games with a hamstring injury. It looks like he’ll be back in action this week and it’s not a moment too soon for special teams seeing as how Georgia lost Dan Jackson for the season earlier this week.

RB Kendall Milton (groin): The bruising tailback led Georgia in rushing going into the Auburn game but suffered the groin injury after two carries for 13 yards. He didn’t play against Vanderbilt but he has been practicing and should be back out there this week.
