Georgia’s injury report for Mississippi State is the shortest it has had this season. It includes just five names with two questionable and three out. Junior center Jared Wilson is questionable after being clear to play and serving as the emergency center against Auburn. Sophomore defensive tackle Jordan Hall is also questionable.

Senior linebacker Smael Mondon (foot), senior right guard Tate Ratledge (ankle and knee), and redshirt freshman running back Roderick Robinson are all listed as out for the game. Mondon missed Georgia’s win over Auburn last weekend and was on the sideline using crutches to get around.

Ratledge suffered a high-ankle sprain and an MCL sprain in the same knee against Kentucky. He underwent tight-rope surgery two days after that injury and is eyeing a return in early November, after Georgia’s second bye week. Robinson has been out since the middle of preseason camp and he’s out until at least November.

With Wilson missing the game against Auburn, Drew Bobo got his first career start. Georgia amassed 31 points on 5.8 yards per play with Bobo in the middle of the offensive line. Wilson started four games of the season at center after missing a chunk of preseason camp with an achilles injury. He suffered the latest injury in Georgia’s loss to Alabama.

Hall has been trying to make his way back since before the start of preseason camp. It was discovered in July that Hall was dealing with a stress fracture in his left tibia and he had surgery to help the injury heal. Georgia then discovered that he had the same injury a little over a week into preseason camp and needed the same surgery in his right leg. The Jacksonville native has been back practicing and working to return since before the Alabama game.

The absences of Christen Miller and Mykel Williams from the report is notable and positive. Miller, who has started each of the first five games, did not finish the Auburn game due to a knee injury but Kirby Smart downplayed the severity after the game, saying that he was under the impression that Miller didn’t go back into the game because Georgia was getting some reserves into the game.

Williams missed the Tennessee Tech and Kentucky games with a grade-two high-ankle sprain. He returned to play 25 snaps against Alabama and then a half dozen or so against Auburn.
