ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia could get a pair of linemen back when it takes on Florida on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET on ABC). Kirby Smart met with reporters after Tuesday’s practice where he offered optimistic updates on senior right guard Tate Ratledge (knee and ankle) and sophomore defensive lineman Jordan Hall (shins).

“Both have ramped up in terms of reps. Tate took quite a bit yesterday…,” Smart said on Tuesday. “Jordan has done more. He still has moments where it bothers him but I think yesterday was his best day yet.”

Smart says that there is no timeline for redshirt sophomore tailback Branson Robinson (knee) nor senior inside linebacker Smael Mondon (foot). Neither were available when the Bulldogs beat Texas the last time out.

Ratledge has missed the last four games after suffering a sprained MCL and a high-ankle sprain against Kentucky in mid-September. He underwent tight rope surgery approximately six weeks and five days ago. Ratledge was available for the Bulldogs win at Texas. He went through his own personal warmup before the game, prior to Georgia’s team warmup, without any apparent limitations.

Hall hasn’t played this season after stress fractures were discovered in each of his shins in late July and early August. The Jacksonville native has dressed out for each of Georgia’s past three games and appeared to be available in all three but did not get into the game.

Robinson suffered an MCL sprain in the first quarter of Georgia’s win over Mississippi State two and a half weeks ago. He was quickly ruled out for the game at Texas but Smart hasn’t spoken on the redshirt sophomore the Monday before that game. That was over two weeks ago.

Mondon has been out since the Alabama game with a foot injury. Early indications were that the senior linebacker could be in danger of missing the rest of the season. Now a return in November looks possible for Mondon.
