WATCH: Ladd McConkey dazzles on long TD run to extend Georgia lead
STARKVILLE, Miss. — An ugly end to the first half had Georgia leading Mississippi State by just five points at 17-12 to start the second period of action. It didn’t take long for the Bulldogs from the SEC East to extend it.
Georgia gained five yards on its first play and on the second it turned to Ladd McConkey on the end around. The redshirt sophomore found a seam and went through it, breaking at couple of tackles on his way to a 70-yard touchdown. Jack Podlesny’s PAT would give Georgia a 24-12 lead.
