Full 2024 Georgia schedule officially announced
All 2024 SEC football schedules are officially out and the league’s reveal show on Wednesday confirmed what we learned last week when it comes to Georgia. In what appeared to be an early leak, the Bulldogs’ 2024 slate was made known last Wednesday.
AUG 31 – Clemson (Atlanta)
SEPT 7 – Tennessee Tech (Athens)
SEPT 14 – Kentucky (Lexington)
SEPT 21 – Bye Week
SEPT 28 – Alabama (Tuscaloosa)
OCT 5 – Auburn (Athens)
OCT 12 – Mississippi State (Athens)
OCT 19 – Texas (Austin)
OCT 26 – Bye Week
NOV 2 – Florida (Jacksonville)
NOV 9 – Ole Miss (Oxford)
NOV 16 – Tennessee (Athens)
NOV 23 – UMass (Athens)
NOV 30 – Georgia Tech (Athens)
It’s a tough slate. For starters, Georgia will play inside Sanford Stadium just once during the first five weeks of the season. It won’t, however, play four road games during that stretch. He has a neutral-site game in Atlanta to start the season, an open week in week four, and away games at Kentucky and Alabama.
The first game being played in August means that there are two open weeks. Georgia has one in each of the first two months of the season and before they take on Alabama and Florida. Both The Crimson Tide and the Gators have the week off prior to their showdowns with UGA. Those two teams are the only opponents who are open the week before taking on the Bulldogs. We also know the game time for the clash with the Crimson Tide. That one will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Georgia hosts its oldest rival, Auburn, the week after playing at Alabama but the Tigers have to tangle with Oklahoma the week prior. Texas has to deal with the same thing. The Red River Rivalry between the Longhorns and Sooners will take place on October 12, the week before Georgia makes its way to Austin to take on the SEC newcomer.
There are 10 Power Four teams on the Bulldogs 2024 slate. Georgia will begin the season with the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff vs. Clemson. They’ll close the season as they do every year — except for 2020 due to COVID-19 — with an in-state battle vs. Georgia Tech. That one will be in Athens this season. Eight of the 12 teams on the Bulldogs’ schedule in 2024 are bowl eligible this season and two are playing in the College Football Playoff.
