ATHENS, Ga. — It’s Saturday in the Classic City where No. 12 Georgia is clinging to its College Football Playoff hopes as No. 7 Tennessee rolls into town. The Bulldogs are favored by 9.5 points and the stakes couldn’t be higher if you bleed red and black. Win and you’re done with conference play and in control of your own destiny vs. UMass and Georgia Tech. Lose and it’s time to start looking toward the future. Before it all gets going, DawgsHQ has a look at the depth chart UGA has provided on the flip card.

Quarterback

  1. Carson Beck
  2. Gunner Stockton
  3. Ryan Puglisi OR Jaden Rashada

Running Back

  1. Trevor Etienne
  2. Branson Robinson
  3. Roderick Robinson
  4. Nate Frazier
  5. Cash Jones
  6. Chauncey Bowens
  7. Dwight Phillips Jr.

*** Etienne and both Robinsons are both out for this game. Georgia is down to the last four guys on that list and Jones is also dinged up. Frazier has been Georgia’s leading rusher the past two games but Bowens and Phillips haven’t played major snaps this season.

Wide Receiver (X)

  1. Dillon Bell OR Colbie Young
  2. Cole Speer
  3. Jeremy Bell

*** Young is still suspended indefinitely but this is the first time he has been on a depth chart since Georgia’s last home game. He has missed the past four games.

Wide Receiver (Slot)

  1. Dominic Lovett
  2. Anthony Evans
  3. Sacovie White
  4. Walter Blanchard

Wide Receiver (Z)

  1. Arian Smith
  2. London Humphreys
  3. Michael Jackson III
  4. Nitro Tuggle

Tight End

  1. Oscar Delp OR Ben Yurosek OR Lawson Luckie
  2. Jaden Reddell
  3. Colton Heinrich

Left Tackle

  1. Earnest Greene
  2. Bo Hughley
  3. Jahzare Jackson

*** It may mean nothing but Xavier Truss and Monroe Freeling were announced as the starters as the starting lineups video ran a few hours before the game. Greene has started every game at right tackle but he has been banged up for weeks and struggled badly in Georgia’s loss to Ole Miss.

  1. Xavier Truss
  2. Monroe Freeling
  3. Nyier Daniels

Defensive End

  1. Mykel Williams OR Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
  2. Joseph Jonah-Ajonye

*** Jonah-Ajonye is out for the season after having surgery a couple of weeks ago. Georgia has leaned heavily on Williams and Ingram-Dawkins.

Defensive Tackle

  1. Christen Miller OR Warren Brinson
  2. Jordan Hall
  3. Xzavier McLeod
  4. Jordan Thomas

*** Hall made his season debut against Ole Miss last week with just five snaps. He has been trying to comeback from a pair of preseason surgeries dealing with stress fractures in each leg. Georgia appears to be healthier than it has been all season on the defensive line.
