WATCH: Georgia releases 'me vs me' trailer for Mississippi State
The 2024 College Football season is flying by. We’re already to week seven and that means a Battle of the Bulldogs in Athens as No. 5 Georgia hosts Mississippi State. Kickoff is set for 4:15 p.m. ET on The SEC Network and it’s a chance for the home team to move to 5-1 before a trip to No. 1 Texas next weekend.
Before all of that goes down, the Georgia video team is doing its part to work Bulldog Nation into a frenzy with another hype video. This one is titled “me vs. me” and it’s narrated by senior walk-on Dan Jackson, the team’s leading tackler and starting strong safety.

As we’ve all learned, however, Georgia can’t afford to look ahead. This Bulldog team has shown its vulnerabilities earlier than it would have liked and we’ve seen some crazy upsets in College Football already this season. Vanderbilt’s win over Alabama, a week after the Crimson Tide beat Georgia, should have everyone’s attention.

Then there’s the fact that MSU is coming off a bye week and has one of the best offensive minds in the country, Jeff Lebby, leading it’s offense. Kirby Smart, as always, expects a challenge.
“You know, I got a lot of respect for Jeff Lebby and his offense and what he’s done and where he’s been,: Smart told reporters on Monday. “The people he’s worked for in his career are really good offensive coaches, so they’re hard to defend because they space you out, they spread you out, they tempo you, they count your numbers in the box. I mean, they’re almost always going to be right in terms of what they run. You’ve got to beat the man in front of you to beat them. You’ve got to outwork the guy to win two gaps a lot of times because it’s hard the way they play, and they’ve got really good backs.”
