Georgia really took it to Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Bulldogs won 55-0 on homecoming, making it 117-0 over the Commodores in their past two meetings. The blowout victory gave Georgia a chance to play 16 true freshmen.

That means over half of the 2022 class saw the field. Below, DawgsHQ offers a list of the first-year Georgia players who saw action and how they fared.

RB Branson Robinson (22 snaps): The bruising tailback turned in another strong showing but it wasn’t quite as eye-catching as it was against Auburn. He had eight carries for 34 yards on the day.

WR Dillon Bell (40 snaps): Bell didn’t get the start but he was in the game on the first series. He finished with his best statistical showing as a Georgia Bulldog, hauling in a team-leading five passes for 54 yards and the second touchdown of his career.

WR De’Nylon Morrissette (14 snaps): The former four-star prospect got into the game in the second half and caught a pair of passes for 12 yards.

WR Cole Speer (2 snaps): The Calhoun High School product saw the field for the fourth time in the past six games but he did not make his way onto the final stat sheet.

TE Oscar Delp (22 snaps): We seem to remember seeing Delp in the game fairly early. We also seem to remember him being targeted in the passing game. He did not, however, have a catch.

DE Mykel Williams (21 snaps): Williams led all defensive linemen in snaps and had one of his most productive days at Georgia. He had three total tackles and two of them were of the solo variety.

DL Bear Alexander (13 snaps): Alexander continues to contribute in the Georgia third-down package. He had one total tackle on the day.

DL Christen Miller (6 snaps): Miller played for the first time since week three. He did not register on the Georgia stat sheet.

OLB Darris Smith (10 snaps): We were a little surprised to see Smith play since he was working with Scott Sinclair before the game. That usually indicates that a player is dealing with an injury. Georgia got Smith some action at outside linebacker where he had one tackle.

OLB Marvin Jones Jr. (8 snaps): The former five-star prospect pitched in on special teams and got a few defensive snaps in, too. He had one solo tackle.

ILB Jalon Walker (20 snaps): Walker played quite a bit when you consider his 20 defensive snaps and work on special teams. He finished second on the team with four total tackles. Two of them were solo stops.

ILB E.J. Lightsey (10 snaps): Lightsey saw action for the second straight game. He finished with two total tackles and one solo stop.

S Malaki Starks (36 snaps): Starks started his sixth straight game and tied Kelee Ringo for the most defensive snaps. He did not, however, have a tackle or any other stats.

S JaCorey Thomas (13 snaps): Thomas got on the field for the first time since week two and got some experience under his belt. He did not have a presence in the final stats.

CB Daylen Everette (23 snaps): Everette got into the game in the first half and played quite a bit throughout. He helped Georgia with two total tackles and one of them was a solo stop.

P Brett Thorson (special teams): The young specialist wasn’t needed much against the Commodores. He had one 36-yard punt that came down inside the Vandy 20-yard line. That came in the first quarter and it was his last of the day.
